FireHydrant helps Software Engineering teams build and improve their incident management process for with a platform which combines automation, communication, and documentation for retrospectives.
The Analytics redesign provides our customers a new way to view and analyze incident data. The analytics have been improved with more metrics and better data visualizations to help customers report out their incident management response.
I worked closely with a Principal Product Manager and a team of engineers to design and build improvements to the Analytics feature. This enabled our customers to use the analytics effectively in reports they typically give to leadership on the state of their incident management processes.
One of the interesting challenges about the Analytics redesign was designing a layout which gave customers a dashboard-like view of their metrics. Additionally, improving our data visualizations by using a new charting library was a technical challenge, but it paid off in the end.
