FireHydrant helps Software Engineering teams build and improve their incident management process for with a platform which combines automation, communication, and documentation for retrospectives.

The existing experience for setting up new integrations in FireHydrant was a 1-click type experience that did not guide users through any necessary steps to ensure their integration was properly enabled. We needed to improve this experience to make it more intuitive and user-friendly.

I designed an experience that introduced a new UI pattern of a full-screen takeover. This pattern ensures users are focused on the integration setup process and that they are not interrupted by other content. I also included clear and concise instructions and progress indicators to make the process easy to follow and complete.

I collaborated closely with my design team and engineers to ensure that the designs would be accessible, responsive, and could be included into the design system.
